Commercial Construction
-
Ace High Builders delivered the LDS Church Security Department Training Center, a specialized 67,600-square-foot facility built for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on the west side of Salt Lake City. Designed to support the Church’s in-house security operations, the project includes advanced training environments such as dual shooting ranges, tactical instruction spaces, and modern classrooms dedicated to use-of-force education and defensive readiness.
Constructed on church-owned land within the Utah Inland Port, this project required precision coordination, strict safety standards, and a deep understanding of specialized infrastructure. The result is a purpose-built training center that reflects both operational excellence and long-term scalability—built to serve evolving security needs with durability, efficiency, and discretion.

We approach commercial construction as a partnership, not a transaction. Operating on a cost-plus model, we eliminate the adversarial nature of fixed-bid contracts and the endless cycle of change orders that come with them. Instead of hiding costs or protecting margins at the client’s expense, we work with full transparency—open books, real-time communication, and aligned incentives from day one. This allows decisions to be made based on what’s best for the project, not what fits inside an outdated estimate. The result is smoother execution, fewer surprises, and a process built on trust rather than negotiation.
Our experience spans virtually every type of commercial project—ground-up builds, complex tenant improvements, structural and civil work, and highly specialized builds like scalable car wash systems. That breadth matters. It means we don’t get caught off guard, and we don’t learn on your job. We bring a seasoned perspective that anticipates challenges early, solves problems efficiently, and keeps momentum strong from pre-construction through closeout. At the end of the day, we’re not just building structures—we’re building long-term relationships that make the next project even better than the last.
